i juz realised how much i love piano. though it wasn't not a luxury tat i had from young, but i'm really glad tat it appeared in my life.
ever since i took up piano in pri 5, my entire life changed. i began to know wad real music is. but my playful character and laziness put it to waste. i thought music was all about classical music and complicated score sheets. i was wrong.
i stopped having lessons from sec 3 as i couldn't cope with my school work and stuff. tat was an excuse. i din even try coping. but nevertheless, there were other factors that made me give up piano. no more lessons, but the piano's still there...
as my lessons stopped, my practicing frequency dropped as well. till it was so serious that i hardly touched the piano for mths...
but it's a good thing that i dropped piano, for i had to concentrate on O's.
but since it's over, i did not resume my practicing. i assumed that the piano will always be there. (though it's not mine)
then, the day came. the piano had to go home.back to where it came from. it'll no longer be with me. and i din even had the chance to have one last play on it. i felt rather sad then, but not as sad as now..
these few days i'm totally gaga over the piano pieces in Long Vacation. (they're fabulous, trust me) fortunately, i still have the electric piano my uncle left me even though the piano's gone. but it's nth like the piano. the genuine echo-y sound of the piano, the wood hitting against the strings... it's nth like that. but i could still move my fingers on the keyboard and play out notes and form music.
these notes soothe me.. they calm me down, as it was real hectic outside, in sch and all. but the quiet surroundings of my house (nobody's home) and the sound of the piano (electric one) really gives me peace. that is tranquility i guess. this is the first time in my entire life tat i found peace and tranquility through piano music. i bet piano and the pieces in Long Vacation had a GREAT impact on me and my life...
those who wanna hear the pieces, i do have some midis and mp3s of it. but i'm still looking for 2 mp3s of it. if anybody noes where i can get the musical/instrumental soundtrack of LongVacation do let me noe ya? oh. and the VCD too. ^^ thanx!
